CMYK Industries supports garment decoration and label printing businesses across Johannesburg, South Africa and neighbouring countries. That means our work is hands-on and detailed, from installing specialised digital printers to helping a customer keep production moving during load-shedding or after a late-afternoon breakdown.
We hire people who are steady, honest and ready to learn. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be comfortable working with machines, clients and deadlines. Many of our customers run short runs, colour changes and urgent reorders, so timing and accuracy matter.
Roles We Commonly Hire For
Our team includes customer-facing and technical roles, plus people who keep orders, stock and schedules organised. Depending on business needs, we may look for people with experience in printing, electronics, production support or sales administration.
- Technical support and field service for printers, transfer machinery and related equipment
- Sales and account support for print shops, resellers and production houses
- Operations, stock control and coordination of consumables

What the Work Looks Like Day to Day
Some days are spent on site in Midrand, Sandton, Pretoria, the East Rand or West Rand. Other days are spent on the phone or by email helping a client with printhead care, media profiling or a toners order that must land before a production run. We also assist customers in Southern Africa, so clear communication is important.
We value people who can explain technical steps in plain language and stay calm when a machine stops mid-job. Coastal humidity, inconsistent power and municipal operating rules can all affect print production, so practical thinking goes a long way.
What We Look For in Applicants
Experience helps, but attitude matters just as much. We work best with people who are careful with detail, tidy in their records and respectful when dealing with customers.
- Experience in printing, machinery, or technical service
- Good communication in English, and Afrikaans or another local language is a plus
- Basic computer skills for email, job tracking and reporting
- Willingness to travel when required
- A strong sense of ownership and follow-through
